"Umbrellas" is probably my first plein air painting, a small watercolor done July 4th.  I was drawn to the colorful dome shapes.  It is one of my favorite compositions, so of course I had to paint it in a larger format.

     Somewhat challenging, this 16" x 20" acrylic on canvas took longer to finish than I though it would.  Turned out pretty good.  Someone in the gallery class where I worked on it, remarked that it looked "cheerful", which is precisely why I was attracted to the umbrellas at the beach in the first place.

     While I was hanging this piece at home, dropped my hammer and damaged the canvas.  So I repainted this one  completely.   Added figures to the composition, which versions 1 and 2 did not have.

     All sales are final.   Every precaution will be taken to protect artwork during shipping.  In the event product gets damaged in transport, send photo of damaged goods.  Cost of goods will be refunded.
