I love covered bridges.  Having traveled back east when I was a child, we saw a few.  My memories of those buildings crop up every now and then as a subject for my paintings.

     Taught this covered bridge to my drawing class to show how to draw a building in two point perspective.  I found this one in a book I have.  It is one in West Arlington, Vermont.  Did a pencil drawing first, then painted this in acrylics.  Did under painting with a brush, then finished with palette knives.

     Entered this artwork in the Southern California Fair in Perris, October 2019.  Won first place in amateur acrylic painting, buildings category.
