I saw Jerry Yarnell on TV, painting lily pads and flowers from his pond.  I led my Paint Party class using this subject.  Flowers and pads were large, as though we were close to the water.

     Later, I changed my mind about how I wanted to paint a lily pond, so I Googled it.  Found a technique I liked, so I painted the composition again, on a canvas.  (Lily Pond 3).

     As with most of my paintings that have not been finished, I go back to the composition and rework them.  The updated version became Lily Pond 4.
