I have had a desire to be able to paint fire.  This particular piece started out to be a spontaneous painting.  Using a 7" x 5" canvas, I scooped up paint, in reds, yellows, oranges straight out of the tubes and applied with patting, slopping, flicking strokes with a pallete knife.

     This took me about 10 minutes to cover the small canvas.  I let it dry a little, then brushed paint on the sides, so it would not need to be framed.

     I loved how it turned out, so free, spontaneous, impressionistic.  I originally called it "Fire".  When I showed it to my husband he said, "There's an angel in there", hence the name, "Angel In the Fire".

 

     All sales are final.   Every precaution will be taken to protect artwork during shipping.  In the event product gets damaged in transport, send photo of damaged goods.  Cost of goods will be refunded.
