Rio Grande is a 16” x 20” pastel on watercolor paper.  In 2008 I went to New Mexico with an artist friend from my church, to cook at a women’s yoga retreat camp. 

     After our week of cooking was done, my friend and I traveled from Espanola to Taos, New Mexico to visit the pueblos.  Our drive took us through a canyon, next to the Rio Grand River.  I took the same trip in 2009 and again, with my husband in 2011.

     This painting is the view I saw sitting in the water at the edge of the river, while Joe waded and swam in mid-stream.  I really love this area of New Mexico.

     All sales are final.  Every precaution will be taken to protect artwork during shipping.  In the event product does get damaged, in transit, send photograph of damaged goods.  Cost of goods will be refunded.
