"Tea and Oranges 2"
I did this in Fundamentals of Art class, teaching basic drawing skills, first in graphite, (0037) then in colored pencil. I wanted to do the oranges in a different view than just whole, halves or slices. The shape of this one came about by just poking my thumb in and pulling it apart. Background is multiple colors layered, in the style that artist Ron DiCianni taught. This is one of my favorite still-life paintings.
